Warner Chappell

Work commenced at this major music publisher in November 2006 as a consultant for their development of the pan European Digital Licensing Initiative (PEDL). The brief was to assist in the set up and implementation of their digital licensing initiative in Europe. Initially the model was to provide the same contractual terms to as many societies as would align with them – so that digital services could choose who they would work with in order to acquire licensing of the Warner Chappell Anglo US repertoire in Europe.

Work carried out involved the close working with Warner Chappell staff to assist with the agreements, identify repertoire and implement processes and systems that would enable the licensing under the prescribed standards.
