Fintage House is a Dutch company based in Leiden, The Netherlands. It is a global film and television rights company that was also involved with music related assets. Prior to the sale of the music pubishing and neighbouring rights divisions to Kobalt, Maria Forte acted as a consultant advisor to both companies. Fintage was an early adopter of the direct to society model, putting in place direct memberships around the world to ensure the best and most efficient method of multi-territory registration, collection and distribution for its clients. As an interim Managing Director of Fintage Music Publishing, she oversaw the development and running of the division as well as the structure and progress of the society network. As an IMPEL Board Member and founding publisher on behalf of Fintage, she was part of the growth of the Independent Music Publishers eLicensing (IMPEL) and its establishment as a bona fide collective for the multi territory licensing of Anglo-US rights with digital services. For the neighbouring rights division she acquired clients for the company and assisted with the resulting administration, ensuring the wrap around service Fintage was known for.
