Jazzie B/Soul II Soul

In the late 80’s at Virgin Music Publishers, Maria Forte worked closely with Jazzie B of Soul II Soul, as administrator of his copyrights and licensor of samples involving Soul II Soul works. The association began with the iconic ‘Club Classics Vol I’ album and continues to the present day. From the years at Virgin Music and then EMI Music Publishing, to the current day, with Jazzie B’s new venture – Funki Dred Records and Funki Dred Songs, their relationship has continued throughout the passing of years.
